"Vanity"
Traditional Mexican folk art Catholic imagery features a brightly saturated Female Saint with a dagger piercing the heart. Behind her a ceramic pre-Columbian figure from the Latin American world stands with feet spread wide apart and a palm thrust forward. Before them is a black crow perched on the green grass and a small metal milagro of the sun. On the back side is a simple collage that reads, "Vanity," making an allusion to the biblical book of Ecclesiastes. and a hand-drawn heart. It is hand dated "08/20" and signed bythe artist. This is a desktop frame only, and has no hanging hardware. See pictures for details.
