"See No Evil"
A pair of blue lensed antique spectacles placed over the eyes of a traditional Cambodian buddha against the backdrop of molecular and cellular activities, "See No Evil," tells the proverbial story of tinted lenses, cloring a world in a saturation of hues that impact or distort the perceived world of the wearer. In this case, the indigo filter on the Buddha represents the inability, or refusal to see any evil, or wrong doing. It is the symbol of limitless compassion, extended to all actors performing all actions everywhere. The entire piece is set behind layers of transparent finishing products to protect the materials and colors from UV damage. The Title collage on the back of the masonite says "See No Evil, 10/20") and is signed by the artist.
