A meditation on the crucifixion with Paul Gauguin's "Yellow Christ" as the central figure in this piece, this work explores the themse of sacrifice, transformation, rebirth, and the fine arts, paying homage to Gauguin, James Turrell's "Skyspace," the abstract expressionism of Mark Rothko, and to native American textile arts. Two pieces of text appear on the front of the work. One reads, "Panoramic views of he world," and the other, "Amplification of spiritual dreams." The lower right corner bears the artist's signature. The smaller complement collage mounted to the back of the piece is dated "Feb. 2020."
