  • The “Father of the United States” who “could not tell a lie,” is cut from the a print of the classic Courier and Ives portrait and mounted with a halo from Jackson Pollack’s haphazard and expressionistic paint drippings. Together, could there be anything that more completely says “America?” The piece is mounted on a rigid masonite backing behind several layers of polymer varnish and topcoat offering a sturdy protection from UV radiation for decades to come. It rests in a beautiful vintage rustic frame of stained wood with cream colored fabric accents. The Title Collage mounted to the back features an “E Pluribus Unum” quilt, an antique Coca Cola Fountain, and a female figure dancing freely. Together they represent the quintessence of the American Enterprise. It is dated 9/20 and signed by the artist 14.5”x12.75.”
