Bringing together elements of high art, surrealism, folklore, mysticism and nature, this composition pulls on evocative elements on unknown consciousness.  Each piece of paper used in this piece has been meticulously selected, cut with an Xacto knife, arranged, and glued down into its present composition. The sources of each piece in the composition may vary widely from Modern to Vintage to Classical. Once the glue is dry, the entire piece is coated under several layers of crystal clear finishes to give it durability and protect it from UV radiation and prevent fading.The Title Collage mounted to the back of the piece reads "Atavistic Types of Communication, 10/20," and bears the artist's signature.
